What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker — The Short Version

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.

Platforms

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Many pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That should make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The speed is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.

Pair that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.

Safety

Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this guarantee anything. It should inform how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you commit.
